DMM-140 Modular TV Processor and IP Gateway

DMM The DMM series is a modular blade-based IPTV and CATV Headend Gateway System. It is the most price competitive and high-density DVB Videogateway solution found on the market today. Different DVB input blades can be combined - for true, scalable, mix-and-match system integration.

The DMM-100-FR FRAME can hold and operate up to max. 8 gateway blades in only 19" x 4RU; e.g. enabling 8 DVB-S2/S transponder/polarizations in just 4RU. TV or radio channels - no matter if free-to-air or encrypted - are delivered in original source quality as Unicast or Multicast IPTV streams.

DMM Professional TV Gateway Series:

The DMM series is the perfect link and bridge between both the DVB and the IP video-networking world: The IPTV Gateway Headend System encapsulates the original DVB transport streams (TS packages) into IP: live streams ready to use with IPTV set top boxes, PC players, for use with IPTV Middleware and for stream recording. Mainly used in hospitality, corporate and educational IPTV and CATV applications.

The TV or radio input DVB signals can be descrambled and decrypted before sending them out on the IP network. This is possible via the included CI-Common Interface. Each DMM-140 streaming blade has two CI/CAM slots for decryption.

Every DMM-140 blade is controlled remotely and independently via remote control software over the network. Each blade operates fully individual and is equipped with a 10/100 Base-T Ethernet interface. Enabling robust and stable 24/7 operation, without being dependent on additional blade controller units.
